Does insurance cover the laser UPPP procedure?
This procedure is done
exclusively for the treatment of snoring. For that reason, insurance
companies will agree to cover the procedure. Because it is elective
and cosmetic surgery,
payment is required the day of service.
What is the cost for the procedure?
The cost of
the combination laser and nasal radiofrequency procedure is $3,000. LA-UPPP is a single stage procedure and
usually does not require multiple procedures. Our experience shows that if you loose weight your snoring
is going to be less and if you gain weight even as little as 5 pounds your
snoring may come back.
