Corporate Seminars

For the past several years, Dr. Madani has been providing community education through Snoring & Sleep Apnea seminars at companies throughout the Delaware Valley.  If you would like Dr. Madani to give a seminar at your company, please contact us.

What factors will place your corporation at increased risk of preventable loss due to sleepy workers?

Ask if your workplace includes:

  • Males over age 40

  • Shift Workers

  • Drivers

  • Overweight Employees

  • Overtime requirements

  • Equipment Operators

  • Factors that create hazard of injury or damages in event of employee inattention or error

Sleepy employees experience potentially dangerous degrees of impairment - essentially comparable to that of substance abusers.

Their impairment can jeopardize your bottom line - in a virtually identical manner.

Companies and their employees should be educated about the danger signs and consequences of snoring and sleep apnea. Let us help them to take steps to treat it!

Consider A Corporate Lunch Seminar

Many companies provide health awareness seminars for their employees.  Dr. Madani is available to companies providing these services. Dr. Madani can give a  lunchtime presentation at the company's location.  The free lecture includes a computer presentation and a question and answer session.  The seminar can range from 30 minutes up to two hours, depending on your time schedule and the number of attendees. If you'd like more information on a Snoring & Sleep Apnea seminar at your office, you can contact Lisa Waxman at (800) 206-2000.

"Drowsy America"

"Sleepy workers are dangerous, less productive, and a major source of increased health care costs and corporate liability. Studies of the workplace and transportation industries reveal that human error causes up to 90% of accidents, with inadequate sleep representing a major factor in human error."

"Survey on Sleep Loss, Job Problems is Eye-Opener"

Large number of U.S. workers suffer from a lack of sleep, affecting on-the-job performance, according to survey results released by the National Sleep Foundation.  The survey found that almost half of the U.S. labor force - about 55 million workers - have experienced sleeplessness in the last three months and two-thirds reported that the resulting fatigue make it more difficult to perform their daily job tasks.

Translated into dollar figures, the foundation calculated that sleeplessness costs the U.S. economy about $18 billion a year in lost productivity.
