RISK MANAGEMENT AND CHALLENGES IN DENTISTRY

8:00 AM – 12:30 PM

As dental practitioners, we encounter many challenges on a daily basis. Understanding the various areas of vulnerability and providing guidance for mitigating weaknesses is the goal of this presentation. Patient and staff safety is the primary objective of any dental practice. Unfortunately, complications and unexpected outcomes can sometimes occur leading to patient dissatisfaction and sometimes legal liability issues. In this presentation, we cover many areas of vulnerabilities in the dental practice and discuss alternatives and resolutions to those issues and hope that it stimulates thoughts and triggers discussion amongst the dental team members. We hope that by careful attention to this important subject, our colleagues avoid dental and medical litigations. We also hope that our listeners return to their practices, identify, evaluate, track, and improve the risk mitigation process discussed in this presentation. This course is designed to encompass all specialties of dentistry and all team members. A dental practice that can predict a risk will always be at an advantage.

WE STRONGLY ENCOURAGE YOU AND YOUR TEAM TO TAKE THIS COURSE TO HELP AVOID ANY LIABILITY SUITS.
