Lisa Waxman
Office Administrator and Director of Marketing

 
Lisa is a graduate of Penn State University. She has been part of our team since 1996. Her visionary ideas consistently add to the success of our practice. With her educational background and hundreds of press releases about the wonderful and unique activities in our center, we have been featured in countless local, national as well as international public media formats. Always keeping technological innovation in the forefront, she also created and launched our first website in 1996 and since then, has greatly improved its features to what it is today. She takes pride in being the most active member of the team. Additionally, Lisa owns a event planning business, A Little Sunshine, where she produces innovative ideas for variety of events. In addition to her work expertise, she brings warmth, genuine compassion and dedication to our patients as well as the rest of the team.

Becca DeOrio
Billing Coordinator & Front Desk Team

 
Becca joined our practice in February 2016 and is a pleasant addition to our team. She is well versed with billing and insurance protocol. Additionally, patients are put to ease when they see her smiling face as they walk in the front door. Patients are always taken care of from the minute they walk in until the time they leave.

Jessica Musser
Patient Coordinator & Dental Assistant

Jessica graduated from Widener University in 2015. She then began her career as a police officer in Washingtown Township, New Jersey but then decided to join the dental field. Jessica is now continuing her education in dental hygiene at Delaware Technical and Community College and is x-ray certified. Jessica’s smile brightens up every room that she walks in. She has an amazingly warm and compassionate personality – always going out of her way to help people and make patients and their families feel like they are in the comfort of their home at our office. She truly treats everyone like a part of our family. She works in both our oral surgery practice as well as our pediatric side, Bala Kids Dentistry. When she is not in the office, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, and anything to do with being outdoors. 

Zulay Reyes
Surgical and Anesthestic Team Coordinator 

Zulay joined our team in 2007 after receiving her dental assistant certification from Thompson Institute. Zulay’s kindness, soft spoken voice and her charm makes our most apprehensive patient feel at ease. Zulay speaks fluent Spanish which gives us the additional opportunity to seamlessly communicate with those patients who only speak Spanish. Her presence is a great asset to the practice with impressive experience in oral and maxillofacial surgery. She is always there to lend a helping hand to anyone on our team.

Nawwas Ibn-Faaruq

Nawwas joined our team in October 2015 after completing an externship in our office from Harris School of Business. He has a great chair-side manner and patients feel quite comfortable around him. He always has a smile and a soothing way about him. Whether he is taking an x-ray, assisting in surgery or explaining post-operative instructions, patients always feel calm around Nawwas.

Semaje Harper 
Surgical Assistant

Semaje joined our team in May 2019 after completing her undergraduate degree in pre-dental and Kinesiology from Temple University. In addition to her ongoing time here, she also works as a pediatric dental assistant for our sister company, Bala Kids Dentistry. She plans to continue her education so she can pursue her goal of becoming a dentist.
