IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR LICENSE RENEWAL
CHILD ABUSE & PAIN MANAGEMENT COURSE REQUIREMENTS
Effective with the first license renewal after January 1, 2015, all health-related licensees applying for the renewal of a license issued by the Board shall be required to complete at least 2 hours of Board-approved continuing education in child abuse recognition and reporting requirements as a condition of renewal. We have been approved by the Department of Human Services to provide this CE course. Act 31
OPIOID EDUCATION FOR PRESCRIBERS
If you hold a DEA license, the following requirements apply to you. Effective January 1, 2016 all licensees applying for the renewal of a license issued by the Board that are considered prescribers or dispensers shall be required to complete at least 2 hours of Board-approved continuing education in pain management, identification of addiction or the practices of prescribing or dispensing of opioids as a condition of renewal.
